TerraCycle and Ethical Bean have partnered to create the Ethical Bean Coffee Recycling Program, which allows ALL brands of flexible coffee bags to be recycled. Perfect for coffee drinkers at home, in the office, and anywhere else coffee lovers reside!
About the Program
This program is not only free but incredibly accessible and easy to navigate. First, sign up for the program. If you don’t have an account, you can create one here. Next, start collecting pouches in a box you have! Enjoy your coffee and save your empty flexible pouches. Once you have a full box, log into your account, print off a complimentary shipping label, and send your full box back with UPS – it’s as simple as that.
Great, your coffee pouches have been successfully sent off to TerraCycle – now what? Once the bags arrive at the TerraCycle facility, they are cleaned and melted down into resin that can be used to make new products.
Believe it or not, this program gets even better. When participating in the program, you have the opportunity to earn points that can be redeemed as donations to charities. Who knew there could be so many benefits from enjoying your daily cup of coffee?
